Misono Japanese & Sushi Restaurant in Peabody

The food itself was great and the chef was good, however the service itself was extremely slow. I ended up waiting for 2.5 hours for food and the restaurant was not that busy. Parties after mine got service before us.

One of my favorite Japanese restaurant. Like the Sushi and Chicken Bibimbap.

This used to be our go-to so we decided to head back in for some hibachi. We were hesitant upon being seated as the rug looks like it's from 1982 - I have never seen a rug so worn out, ew but...the food and service were great! Hibachi portions generally tend to be small but we had more than enough and even had leftovers. They only serve beer and wine but had cold sake-based martinis. We'll definitely go back and hope they make some much needed upgrades. All of the staff were masks and participate in Covid tracing. Try the fried ice cream!

Excellent food. Never had anything that wasnt amazing. Some of the hibachi chefs are kind of boring and not friendly, most are really funny and friendly. Talking to ppl that have been to many hibachi places say the misono chefs are so so with their shows, but everyone loves the food

Food is fantastic. Amazing hibachi...when the guy finally gets over to serving you. We had a reservation for 7:30pm and didn't get actually served until well after 9pm. Drinks took more than an hour too, though they were really tasty and well made. I would definitely go back for the food, but be aware, you need to not be on a schedule going here.

I celebrated my nomination today in this gorgeous place. I am glad to say that it was a great evening and the place was clearly the reason for this outstanding event. The crew collaborated in a very nice manner, the food was delicious and my friends were extremely delighted. We shall absolutely return for more celebrations. thanks very much.

The place had a handfull of people when we arrived and the heat was turned off! It took 45min to get our table soup. Horrible service.

Awesome place. Sushi chef is amazing, best spicy tuna I've ever had. The service is great, very attentive and welcoming. Hibachi chefs are great and the food is to die for! Misono is one of my favorites.

Food was delicious as usual, scallops and steak cooked perfectly. Service is always friendly and accommodating. One of our family favorites.

It was in a little bit of a strange place but I can tell you the food was awesome and very large portions. The price was right in line for what we thought. The only downside we could come up with was the service staff was a little slow and that may have just been a staffing issue because all the people we met were fantastic. We will be back!!!

it is everything you want from a Japanese steakhouse. the food is amazing, the staff is friendly and SO experienced. always love coming here, also the fried ice cream is heavenly.

Good sushi and hibachi. Great staff. Only downside is NO HARD LIQUOR.

Excellent food, great experience at the hibachi table, chef was silly/funny, waitstaff friendly. The space itself is pretty outdated and ratty tho, so I couldn't give it 5 stars.

I have been going here for years and I love it more and more everytime! Great staff and amazing food. They also joined with Uber Eats so I order out whenever I can. Best onion soup in New England. Serving sizes are big as well. Also, the sushi is made to order and super delicious.

Excellent all around.... my whole family loved it! Dress warm though, a bit chilly (in February).

I went here because I saw a lot of good reviews and they were all correct, this is a really fantastic restaurant (I went for hibachi) and the food was great and the service was great I have nothing bad to say :)

Great Japanese steak house. Tasty food and good service. Don't let the location lower your expectations.

4 stars because the food is undeniably good. But we had to tell them to wait on us/bring us our first drinks after waiting 20+ minutes. Then the food came lukewarm, obviously the chef had it done but the waitress left it sitting there. I'd still go again, though. Food was delicious like I said.

This is a spot if you are not at all in a rush. Wicked friendly staff. And not fake friendly either. Food is awesome.

Awesome staff food is exelent!

Not sure if the air is poisonous or something but upon entering this establishment my sinuses begin to act up and my nose remain blocked for two hours after leaving the establishment. Very overpriced and not good quality. Do yourself a favor and look up a Tokyo location before heading here.

My friend and I stumbled on this place and havent stopped talking about the crazy elevator, the kani salad and the fabulous sushi.

Have always enjoyed visits here. Great food a little pricey, but well worth it. Alot of different/unique flavors to be had.Love hibach and was pretty impressed with the cook skill.Shares a parking lot with the pornstore right on the highway tho.

two days ago was our first time we went to this restaurant. But It is obviously not the last. We had great time with the courteous service, with the superb cuisine and fine drinks and with the decent charge. We will absolutely go back there soon.

The food was SO GOOD!! Biggest portions of any hibachi place we've been. We really enjoyed that, as they cooked, our chef listed each of the ingredients he was adding to the food. He also asked us if we wanted things on/with our food (sesame seeds, mushrooms, bean sprouts.) I really appreciated that because I really got only food I wanted on my plate. Our chef wasn't as flashy with his cooking tricks as other places, but it was just the two of us at the table so we didn't mind. He did let us throw shrimp tails into his hat, which was fun and interactive. We will definitely be coming back to eat here again!!

The carpet was tattered, Restaurant was empty - that should have motivated us to leave, but since we were crunched for time, we gave them the benefit of a doubt. Unfortunately, for us because the sushi was warm & we questioned the beef in the fried rice. I hope it wasn’t the neighbor’s dog Will NEVER go back & I will NEVER recommend this restaurantNot to mention the dirty dishes & the nasty bathroom

Complete dumpster fire. Small portions, very expensive, nasty tasting food. Burn the place down, to have mercy for other people.

I loved it. Hard to find a sushi artist that puts his heart and attention into his work. So fresh, so tasty. I drive 40 minutes to eat here since my local sushi chef is no longer around !! It

Went last night with friends and family entertainment was far from fantastic.i told the waitress that I was allergic to shrimp and she still had the cook cross contaminate the shrimp with the other vegetables and had to ask a second time and ask for fresh food the cook burnt the rice had no care. He did not put on a show the whole point of a hibachi it’s for the live entertainment with a cook. Hence why you pay for the price . I’ve been to this restaurant many times in the past and I’ve always had excellent service but my service last night was absolutely horrendous.

The place is really old and honestly looks dirty. We were all freezing I'm talking like 55 degrees inside cold. The portions are good size and the food was ok. But the food got so cold to fast especially once he turned on the vent fan. There was only 1 server which delayed everything else. Would I go back? I can't say definitely no.

We've been going there since it first opened 20 years ago. Never had a bad meal and always cheerful staff. I highly recommend Misono and would compare it to any other Japanese restaurant in the area.

I have been going to this place for years, and each time it is amazing! The food is astounding and service is great. The waitress there is super nice and always recognizes me when I come in. She has the best laugh! My go to is the shrimp which always is very tasty. The zucchini that comes with it though is my favorite part! Lately, I've been ordering the fried rice which is out of this world. Sushi is great here too! This is hands down the best hibachi place I've ever been to. The fried ice cream completes the meal!
